Marking the centenary of the expeditions to the island of Pr\u00edncipe and Sobral, the Opera\u2019s synopsis will chart the development of the understanding of gravity by mankind, from Einstein\u2019s Theory of General Relativity to today\u2019s most advanced knowledge of Gravitational Waves.<\/p>\n<p>Students from schools in Brazil, Portugal and Sao Tome &amp;
